Another idiotic robo-call from someone who believes that the Kennedy name should overcome commonsense and make me want to vote for Bobby “BS” Shriver, a dilettante self-aggrandizing, self-serving patron of charity and the arts over an effective legislator like Sheila Kuehl.
Of course, I should consider that Ethel Kennedy, a socialite and the widow of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, knows something about people and politics … considering her late husband was a lecher who professed to be a good Catholic but spent a significant portion of his time using women like Kleenex when he wasn’t playing power politics in his position as the Attorney General.
Pursuing the family business …
The FBI's top secret Kennedy files that showed Bobby and Jackie were lovers
On the evening of November 25, 1963, the widowed Jackie Kennedy walked through Arlington National Cemetery, near Washington DC, with her brother-in-law Bobby. At the grave of Jackie's husband John, who had been assassinated three days previously, the pair dropped to their knees and prayed.
Afterwards, Jackie placed lilies of the valley on the earth. Then, holding hands, the widow and younger brother of John Fitzgerald Kennedy returned to their car.
They were joined in grief, but soon their relationship went beyond shared sorrow - becoming a clandestine affair that ended only when Bobby decided to run for President in 1968. <Source>
Jackie Kennedy had a four-year love affair with Bobby Kennedy that began not long after JFK’s assassination and grew so intense that when RFK was gunned down, it was she — not his wife — who instructed doctors to pull the plug, an explosive new book claims.
The married senator and father of 11 kids was the former first lady’s one “true love” — and his wife, Ethel, along with the rest of the Kennedy clan, knew about their romance, according to “Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story.”
“Everybody knew about the affair. The two of them carried on like a pair of lovesick teenagers,” the late Franklin Roosevelt Jr., who served as JFK’s undersecretary of commerce, says in the book.
“I suspect Bobby would’ve liked to dump Ethel and marry Jackie, but, of course, that wasn’t possible.” <Source>
Ethel chose to ignore her husband’s lechery and infidelity … so why would I trust her to know anything about Bobby Shriver or do anything other than promote the family business?
While some progressive socialist democrats still believe in the media-created myth of Kennedy’s Camelot – the truth is far more different and speaks to self-serving politics as a family business and a way to gain and maintain the family’s collective fortune.
Does Ethel sitting on her elevated perch know that I could care less about the Kennedy name and more about the Santa Monica Airport which Bobby Shriver tried to close. An storied airport that currently serves as a lifeline into the West Los Angeles area during a region-wide natural disaster. An airport rich in aviation history that would be destroyed by the big-money pals of Bobby and his fellow swells.
VOTE FOR NO MORE BS IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY POLITICS – VOTE FOR SHEILA KUEHL.
While both candidates are flaming progressive socialist democrats, only Kuehl has the legislative ability to effectively run something bigger than the Santa Monica City Council whose politics are left of San Francisco – albeit the area has better weather.
P.S. The spoofed number on the display screen of my phone (310-647-5611) is an “out-of-service number” – is this just another indication of the dishonesty that pervades the Kennedy campaign?
