For someone who is a committed gun control advocate, I find it shocking to see President Obama playing with a gun – with his finger on the trigger – in front of a child. No, this has not been photoshopped, but is an official White House Photo taken by the famous White House Photographer Pete Souza.

The President is trying to ban assault guns and encourage personal responsibility with gun safety laws to protect us from being killed, injured or traumatized, not keep us from being squirted with water. Get a grip!

I was being facetious. But, on a more serious note, you cannot legislate morality or detect and deter crazies and criminals because they do not abide by any rules. Therefore, what you are doing is creating a bigger pool of victims who cannot protect themselves from the predators.
And, if the President wanted to be honest -- he would note that the majority of assaults with weapons happen between minority gangs in the inner cities where the democrats have "proven" strict gun control laws do not work.
It is one thing to be a feel good liberal, quite another to roll over and die because you are too afraid to use a weapon to protect yourself.
Obama and his fellow travelers in Congress are immune from the consequences of their actions and are simply following the dictates of the international socialists and communists whose lifelong wish is to disarm America.

Do you not understand that a number of children have been shot by police officers thinking their toy guns were real weapons in low light or adrenaline-charged situations?
Do you not understand hypocrisy and irony?
The point is that the President is a hypocrite -- demanding stringent gun conrols -- even on toy guns (zero tolerance) and then is seen playing with one.
