While I do believe in the good stewardship of our natural resources and the necessity to rid our planet of pollution that is found in our water, air and land, I believe that the modern environmental movement has been taken over by far-left radical activists bent on pursuing their socialist/communist political agenda.
I ask you, what better vehicle exists for securing funding, voter support from useful idiots whose self-esteem is tied to the movement, and the opportunity to pursue your agenda to wreak havoc on the enemy?
The unholy contest …
One one side you have the socialist/communists who want to wreak havoc on our society to pursue their domination dreams of a “perfect planet for perfect people” – all ruled by an elite cadre of super-intelligent “representatives of the people.”
On the other side, there are powerful commercial agribusiness interests who would wish nothing more than be allowed to do anything they want in seeking profitable situations; including polluting, plundering the land and exploiting cheap labor.
And caught in the middle are the ordinary people, who depend on the food and water that flows from our Central California neighbors. Which is the crux of the matter: water rights in California – a traditional battleground between the big political special interests and the people who need the food and water to live.
Round One – the socialists win …
Water flow in the region was severely curtailed, with disastrous consequences when a judge ruled in favor of the environmentalists who were said to have produced a massive report based on nothing more than speculation and junk science. The results were catastrophic: massive regional unemployment, failed crops, fertile land allowed to remain fallow and additional water rationing in Southern California.
Round Two – the Judge appears to be reconsidering …
According to the San Francisco Chronicle …
“Judge may deal jolt to delta water plan”
“A judge in Fresno slammed the federal government Tuesday for reducing the supply of water last year to Central Valley farmers and millions of California residents without scientific justification.”
“U.S. District Judge Oliver Wanger will consider restoring the water supply and ordering government biologists back to the drawing board during a hearing today that could decide the fate of the state's beleaguered salmon.”
“The flow of delta water to farms and communities was cut by about 7 percent in June 2009 to protect salmon, steelhead, green sturgeon and southern resident killer whales, whose primary prey is salmon. Biologists with the National Marine Fisheries Service claimed in an 800-page regulatory report known as a biological opinion that there was not enough water in the delta to support migrating salmon, which are too often killed in the delta pumps that move water south - or harmed by warmer waters resulting from the water delivery.”
People for a perfect planet opt for population control and a reduction in economic activity …
“Wanger agreed with agricultural representatives who claimed that the pumping restrictions were harmful to more than 20 million residents and farmers, many of whom had to let their fields go fallow. He criticized the fisheries service for not backing up its numbers with sound science, calling the restrictions ‘arbitrary, capricious and scientifically unreasonable.’
"Federal defendants completely abdicated their responsibility to consider alternative remedies," Wanger wrote. The fisheries service actions ‘lack factual and scientific justification, while effectively ignoring the irreparable harm those (regulations) have inflicted on humans and the human environment.’"
The environmentalist can try again …
This is an uber-liberal judge, with a law degree from that bastion of liberalism, the University of California at Berkeley’s Boalt Hall.
“Wanger ordered a hearing to determine how the restrictions contained in last year's biological report should be reworked and what should be done in the meantime.”
And the socialist-infiltrated movement responds …
“The National Academy of Sciences declared in March that the efforts to save endangered fish by restricting water delivery were ‘scientifically justified.’"
"’We're definitely disappointed,’ said Doug Obegi, an attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, which first filed a lawsuit to protect dwindling delta fish in 2005. ‘This isn't good news for anybody who cares about California's wild salmon. It is signaling that we are going to have a lot more litigation.’"
The radical activists were more than surprises, they were shocked that someone dare inject a modicum of common sense and reality into a situation which is hurting all Californians …
“The judge's harsh words surprised fisheries advocates who remembered that it was Wanger himself who affirmed in a 2008 ruling that water diversions in the delta had, in fact, jeopardized the existence of Chinook salmon. He had even accused water regulators of failing to consider the effects of global warming and other environmental factors when they approved increased pumping.”
"’The last time around, he seemed to acknowledge that the fish had a value, so I don't know what he is thinking here,’ said Zeke Grader, the executive director of the Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen's Associations. ‘This ruling doesn't seem to acknowledge the harm overpumping has done to the fish and the fishing communities. Instead, it appears to be judicial activism that could lead to the destruction of the Central Valley salmon stocks.’"
I find it highly amusing when the radical environmentalists accuse a judge of “judicial activism” when that is precisely what they seek when they attempt to use our laws against us.
And as for Zeke Grader, he is far from an honest broker when it comes to representing any environmental cause. Let us consider, just for a moment, who Zeke Grader might really represent.
It’s not about environmentalism, it’s about pursuing the socialist agenda in California and elsewhere -- using our own laws against us to enact economy-crippling sanctions that will lead to economic catastrophe and ultimately to population control …
And the aforementioned Zeke Grader is right there among the fellow travelers …
West Coast Regional Conference Climate Catastrophe and Social Change: an Eco-Socialist Perspective
Every region of the earth needs to face the coming dislocations of our ecologies, our economies, and our public health that global climate change is bringing. The crisis provides the greatest evidence that capitalism has failed. A socialist perspective can provide a necessary analysis of the roots of the problem. We call upon socialists, environmental

The Economics of Global Climate Change
Bottom Line …
We are in a fight for the heart and soul of the America we know and love. Our enemy is aggressive, committed, well-funded and has infiltrated themselves into the highest levels of the government and our infrastructure institutions. Our only chance is to vote in “honest brokers” who will do the right thing in the name of “we the people.” We need to overcome the massive political advantage of ego-driven billionaires who are mostly liberal or RINOs (Republicans In Name Only).
There is much to do and we must start now to prepare for November. Don’t forget the June 8th primary in California when we make the first-cut at those who might represent us in the general election.
Until then, be safe and take care of yourself and your family first. Do not turn your back on your friends, neighbors and immediate community – because these are the people who form your mutual assistance network as heaven knows, you can’t trust our current government officials to respond to a major disaster.
