The democrats have just voted to pass Obamacare … 220 to 215.
A list of those democrats and the one Republican who would subvert the Constitution and destroy our economy will follow as soon as they are published. Opposed to the bill were 176 Republicans and 39 democrats -- probably those fearing political retribution in the upcoming election cycle.
Update(01) The Republican was Representative Joseph Cao, a first-termer from New Orleans who represents an overwhelmingly democratic district.
Anh "Joseph" Cao must be one of the most conflicted Republicans in the nation. A Republican running in a heavily democratic district, replacing the corrupt 9 term Congressman William “cold cash in the fridge” Jefferson and being a Catholic voting for a bill which will ostensibly support abortion.
Cao is a former Jesuit who studied for the priesthood. He studied Philosophy at Loyola University and was an attorney in New Orleans. He is also a member of the National Advisory Council to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.Cao’s predilections were known to the Republican leadership and he may be given a “party pass” since the vote apparently did not make a difference.

I can plainly see that this list contains some of the most corrupt democrats ever to be elected to office. All of the above people have sold out America – they have voted to destroy, rather than reform, or healthcare system. They have done this behind closed doors, in secret and without the participation of the Republicans whose ideas could have made the difference between reforming healthcare and reaming the American public. There is no doubt that these legislative weasels cut special deals with the insurance industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the makers of medical devices and the doctors seeking to renegotiate physician’s reimbursement rates. All the while these house asshats pretended to attack these special interests.
I was going to single out those who I felt were the most corrupt – but feel that each and every one of these people are culpable should something happen to the citizens of the United States.
I hope that the democrats and Barack Obama are pleased that they have taken the first step to move America towards European-style socialism. Where the government will create a massive new database that will contain your most intimate details – financial, medical, employment – about you and your children. Every facet of your life that even has a tangential bearing on healthcare will now be under government scrutiny.
The bill is extortionate, as it will deny each of the states that do not implement the federal government’s egregious programs federal funds – as if it was the federal government’s money and not the collective sweat of the American taxpayers who sent this money to Washington in the first place.
