I believe that the United Nations is comprised of a majority of members which do not wish the United States well, both for political and financial reasons.
I believe that the United Nations, like any other large bureacracy, is more involved with self-preservation, self-protection and securing addition power and funding than they are fulfilling their mission.
I believe that the United Nations is a corrupt organization which will tolerate major human rights violations, up to and including genocide, to avoid embarrassing its toxic membership.
And I believe that the United Nations is fundamentally a far-left organization that uses many of the Marxist tactics – including ginning up faux crises and false statistics to further their own cause.
Set against this background, we can see why President Barack Obama would want to further feather his own nest by deepening the associations between the United States and this bastion of far-left ideologues – including a heavy contingent of Muslim nations that want to muzzle all critical free speech and deny most human rights.

Apparently another media-exploitable “historic first” from a man who collects credentials but has no real record of accomplishment.
Pure and utter bullshit …

The United Nations has done little or nothing to stop the proliferation of conventional weapons which kill the majority of the Earth’s inhabitants. And has done little or nothing to curb the spread of chemical and biological weaponry. Lest we not forget, Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons against his own people, killing 5,000 of his own citizens. And that every United Nations sanction, unless enforced unilaterally by the United States was simply ignored. As are sanctions against a nuclear North Korea and a soon-to-be nuclear Iran.
As for global security cooperation, we have seen China and Russia both exercise their absolute vetoes to prevent action from being taken against their client-states.
Obama, the anti-Bush …
No matter what you believed about former President Bush and his Administration, you did not wonder about Bush’s patriotism or willingness to defend the United States. You did not fear that the Bush Administration would violate our sovereignty by ceding power over United States citizens, corporations and institutions to international panels, commissions and courts – whose majority memberships were people who were openly critical of the United States and dismissive of her policies.

I believe that their is now a loosely-coupled global conspiracy to enlarge the power of governments over their citizens, engage in wealth redistribution (mostly to those who are already wealthy and their ambitious and political friends) and to reduce personal freedoms and choice. All based on specious science and the faux phenomenon of global warming. One need only look at the personal fortunes of Al Gore and those profiting from European Cap and Trade to see what could befall the United States under the Obama Administration and his fellow far-left democrats.

The adoption of a new world currency, one based on a basket of other national currencies and used for institutional funding of sovereign projects by the World Bank and International Development Institutions would further weaken the dollar and make it more susceptible to the manipulations by foreign governments.

It’s bad enough when the Federal Reserve implements their often toxic monetary, but to have the Federal Reserved ordered about by the International Monetary Fund is intolerable.
Considering the amount of United States debt that is being held by foreign nations and the unwillingness of the democrat party and the current Administration to develop a coherent self-sustaining energy policy of independence is to only put America at further risk of its enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Bottom line …
I believe President Obama is marching to the beat of a different and far-left drummer. Looking forward to embellishing his credentials as “The One” that brings America to her knees and closer to socialism.
I believe that Obama would give up valuable concessions during substantive negotiations in order to further his own goals and ideology. Including supporting disarming and bankrupting the United States. Including allowing the international community to breach our sovereignty. And certainly allowing for enhanced mutual cooperation with foreign nations for the purposes of advancing his agenda.
I am fundamentally opposed to President Obama, the United Nations and President Obama’s appearance at the Security Council. I believe it is all self-serving “smoke and mirrors” to support an impotent international institution with a massive record of corruption and failure.
