AARP is lying …
It is a fact: AARP does not know what is contained in the final bill – because it has yet to be written. All that exists are 1,000+ page drafts filled with paragraph headers that purport to “broadly” define healthcare concepts. All the real details are masked from the public’s view because they haven’t been written – the greatest power is ceded to the Administration’s agencies and czars who will provide the “implementation” guidelines when the time comes – after the passage of the bill.

Only an ignorant person would not believe that “prioritization” is not a code word for rationing. Ask yourself what will happen if you add millions of people to the system without a corresponding increase in the number of doctors and facilities? In the medical world it is known as “triage.” Prioritizing the patients you will see by the severity of their conditions, making some wait while more critical cases are handled.
And what about the “best practices” component of cost containment. Where statistical outcomes might determine that you are less likely to receive a hip replacement at 85 to relieve pain and mobility based on the outcome of the surgery, your family support group and your value as a contributing member of society. Life and death committees are already a reality in dealing with scarce organ transplants – and there is no evidence that this will not continue in the future.

Apparently AARP is willing to stand by and believe the Administration’s lies when they try to scare the public into believing it is urgently necessary to destroy 85% of the nation’s functioning healthcare system to serve an additional 37 million people – including 12 –20 million illegal aliens who should not be given any rights that are paid for by the citizens and legal residents of the United States.

It's outlined in sections 440 and 1904 of the House bill (Page 838), under the heading "home visitation programs for families with young children and families expecting children." The programs (provided via grants to states) would educate parents on child behavior and parenting skills.
The bill says that the government agents, "well-trained and competent staff," would "provide parents with knowledge of age-appropriate child development in cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor domains ... modeling, consulting, and coaching on parenting practices," and "skills to interact with their child to enhance age-appropriate development."
Are you kidding me?! With whose parental principles and values? Their own? Certain experts'? From what field and theory of childhood development? As if there are one-size-fits-all parenting techniques! Do we really believe they would contextualize and personalize every form of parenting in their education, or would they merely universally indoctrinate with their own?

Can you believe any organization or government willing to use socialist community organizing tactics and union thugs to keep you from finding out the truth?
Can you trust an organization with a built-in conflict of interest and a history of corruption involving the insurance industry?
Can you trust an organization that sends its white political spokesman out and hides its black president in the background? Why isn’t AARP’s president making the television rounds and answering the hard questions? He reportedly gave Obama $9,000 and is in the tank for Obama – so can we trust him? I think NOT! His loyalty is to preserving and extending his corporate power over an enterprise which has grown fat from selling “for profit” insurance and drugs to senior citizens. And is he planning to play the race card as the Obama Administration is wont to do when they run into difficulty?
Just asking... because it is a pattern of behavior we have seen before. Corrupt leadership in the government and in the private sector where corporations are seeking special advantage by spreading government propaganda.

I am apalled at what I am hearing about the so called health care reform. I am 78 and wish to live out the rest of my years in peace and not be anxious about what my government intends to do with me. I have been married for 58 years and raised 6 children and now I'm going to be told how to live or die. I think not.
