For those of you who did not believe that global warming was a political power grab that features more government, higher taxes and a loss of your personal freedoms …
Of course, it is the operative procedures of far-left liberal democrats to make everything about victimhood: by class, race, ethnicity, gender, sex or other characteristics; so is it so hard to believe that the proponents of global warming wouldn’t attack the rich to push their bogus viewpoint?

“To fairly divide the climate change fight between rich and poor, a new study suggests basing targets for emission cuts on the number of wealthy people, who are also the biggest greenhouse gas emitters, in a country.”
“Since about half the planet's climate-warming emissions come from less than a billion of its people, it makes sense to follow these rich folks when setting national targets to cut carbon dioxide emissions, the authors wrote on Monday in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.”
I love it. Another purported scientific study that purports to lay blame for the natural variability of nature and never questions the actual science.
I cannot even begin to point out the political mendacity involved in this report, so I will simply remind the rest of us: the rich are insulated from the consequences of their actions.
As an example, I would like to point out that billionaires who support public policies are often exempt from their guidelines, insulated by political connections and lawyer/lobbyists …
“Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, spent more than $200 million to build a 16th century Japanese emperor's countryside home in Woodside. Yet such a home suffers from ‘significant functional obsolescence,’ according to an Ellison filing — that is, not too many rich folks would buy it — and so Ellison was granted a $3 million tax break. The local school district will reportedly lose some $330,000 in tax revenue.”
Make them show you the proof …
First, read the report that was suppressed by the EPA because it raised credible questions about the science of global warming.
Next, decide whether it is science or politics that is driving the agenda.
Then take action.
If you believe in the political agenda which is going to create a larger government, raise taxes for everyone, deprive you of your freedoms and impact your life by travel restrictions, then pay up.
If you are unwilling to sacrifice your freedoms and your hard-earned dollars to a bogus regime with a dark and destructive political agenda, then join the rest of us and vote the bastards out of office and demand that the new elected officials repeal non-productive and nonsensical legislation.
There comes a time when government steps over the line, propelled by a toxic ideology and a corrosive agenda. We are now there and it is up to you, the voter, to remedy the situation.
