The United Nations global push for power and money …
The United Nations has always been behind the idea that mankind needs to limit population growth to save the planet from catastrophe, whether it be from mass starvation, conflict over scarce resources or simply to stop so-called global warming.
Truth be told, the United Nations is a pseudo-democracy that contains a disproportionate number of evildoers, despots, dictators and those who want to return to the lifestyle and ethos of the 12th century. This corrupt and impotent organization is more about securing additional political power and financial funding than it is about saving humanity from itself. How else can you explain the continuing ethnic cleansing in Eastern Europe and Africa.
There is no doubt in my mind that the socialists, communists, anarchists and monarchists have infiltrated world organizations and the environmental movement for the sole purpose of creating a paradigm-shifting catastrophe – from which they will emerge on top.
Consider this idiotic story from the London Times Online …
“UK population must fall to 30m, says Porritt”
“JONATHON PORRITT, one of Gordon Brown’s leading green advisers, is to warn that Britain must drastically reduce its population if it is to build a sustainable society.”
“Porritt’s call will come at this week’s annual conference of the Optimum Population Trust (OPT), of which he is patron.”
The theoretical optimal population of a planet could be calculated in terms of the necessary resources to sustain life at a particular lifestyle. Unfortunately, there is no methodology to calculate this value as much of the world’s resources remain undeveloped and technology is allowing mankind to leverage resource utilization with each passing year.
But here is the crux of the matter. There must be some means to override human nature, by force if necessary, if certain men are to avoid seeking a bigger share of the resources as they are genetically predisposed to do. This requires some form of ruling elite as a decision-makers – and you can all see where this story is heading.
“The trust will release research suggesting UK population must be cut to 30m if the country wants to feed itself sustainably. Porritt said: ‘Population growth, plus economic growth, is putting the world under terrible pressure.’ ‘Each person in Britain has far more impact on the environment than those in developing countries so cutting our population is one way to reduce that impact.’”
Am I correct in assuming that this asshat is actually suggesting that Britain must curtail its growth and reduce its lifestyle to make up for the growth in underdeveloped countries?
“Population growth is one of the most politically sensitive environmental problems. The issues it raises, including religion, culture and immigration policy, have proved too toxic for most green groups.”
“However, Porritt is winning scientific backing. Professor Chris Rapley, director of the Science Museum, will use the OPT conference, to be held at the Royal Statistical Society, to warn that population growth could help derail attempts to cut greenhouse gas emissions.”
“Rapley, who formerly ran the British Antarctic Survey, said humanity was emitting the equivalent of 50 billion tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.”
Professor Rapley is a loon. Consider that CO2 is a beneficial component of our ecosphere and is required to sustain life. Further consider that CO2 cannot be a causal factor it the rise of the global mean temperature as it lags temperature by 600 – 1,000 years. There is evidence that so-called global warming is nothing more than the natural variability of climate change and that uncontrollable massive forces such as the solar output, Earth’s planetary orbit, the Earth’s rotational dynamics, oceanic influences and the largest greenhouse gas of all, water vapor, dwarf any miniscule CO2 component attributable to man.
“ ‘We have to cut this by 80%, and population growth is going to make that much harder,’ he said.”
Perhaps Professor Rapley could share with us the exact number that represents the optimal temperature of the planet. And considering that the Earth has been warmer and colder; and there has been more CO2 and less CO2 in our atmosphere, his assertions seem ludicrous against the background of an ever-changing nature.
“Such views on population have split the green movement. George Monbiot, a prominent writer on green issues, has criticised population campaigners, arguing that ‘relentless’ economic growth is a greater threat.”
We are now reaching the biggie: the need to control our economic growth – by instituting a carbon cap and trade system; which, in reality, is little more than a taxation/wealth transference scheme that also results in increasing political power and the curtailment of personal freedoms.
Screw the experts …
“Many experts believe that, since Europeans and Americans have such a lopsided impact on the environment, the world would benefit more from reducing their populations than by making cuts in developing countries.”
“This is part of the thinking behind the OPT’s call for Britain to cut population to 30m — roughly what it was in late Victorian times.”
Wait a minute …
“Britain’s population is expected to grow from 61m now to 71m by 2031. Some politicians support a reduction.”
How much of Britain’s population growth comes from native Britons and how much comes from baby-dropping immigrants from lesser developed areas? Perhaps one should call a halt to all immigration – especially from Africa and the Middle East countries. In any event, the United Nations’ has always fudged its population growth statistics and is no longer a credible source for population numbers.
“Phil Woolas, the immigration minister, said: ‘You can’t have sustainability with an increase in population.’ The Tory leader, David Cameron, has also suggested Britain needs a ‘coherent strategy’ on population growth.”
This is a demonstrably false statement. Sustainability is not defined in today’s world as self-containment. It includes the importation of lacking natural resources and the exportation of abundant natural resources – all mitigated with the labor of the populace. We have moved beyond the medieval though that individual communities need to be self-sufficient unto themselves.
But just to piss off those who are in the anti-war, anti-nuke, anti-growth movement, let us develop clean, sustainable and cost-effective nuclear energy. This will reduce CO2 emissions from conventional energy producers much to their delight. However, don’t be surprised when they come up with another scheme to inflate their personal power, increase political control, raise taxes and curtail personal freedoms.
“Despite these comments, however, government and Conservative spokesmen this weekend both distanced themselves from any population policy.”
We want your money and more power – and the last thing we want to do is piss you off enough to vote us out of office.
Most advocates of population control and global warming have turned the subject into their own personal quest for power and profits. One needs only to look at the poster boy for the corruption of science, Al Gore – who refuses to debate any unvetted third-party in an international forum. The money must be good and the adulation of the simple-minded must feel wonderful.
What can YOU do?
Examine the motives behind those who recommend increased political control, increased taxation and the reduction of personal liberties in terms of their own personal political, financial and ego-centric goals.
Do not allow any government to impose lifestyle-threatening restrictions based on nothing more than a hypothesis ginned up by a somewhat suspect computer program.
Remember: idiocy is a global phenomenon and there are those evildoers who are willing to capitalize on the stupidity and complacency of the ignorant “feel-good,” “perfect people for a perfect planet” crowd who seem to regard humans as the impediment for maintenance of the ecosphere. Not realizing that the ecosphere – as well as the universe, is a naturally occurring phenomenon which cannot be grossly influenced by the actions of mankind.
Do not vote for any candidate or current politician who is willing to subvert the safety, security, sovereignty and economic strength of the United States or limit an individual's right of self-defense for their personal philosophy, power, prestige or profits.
