My Way News - ACLU: Boeing Offshoot Helped CIA.
Imagine if you will, the ACLU suing the Automobile Club for providing a “TripTik Travel Planner Drive Trip Plan” to the FBI who surreptitiously grabbed a suspected terrorist off the street in California and transported him across country to Quantico, Virginia — a suspect that was later found innocent.
“NEW YORK (AP) - The American Civil Liberties Union said Wednesday it is suing Jeppesen Dataplan Inc., a subsidiary of Boeing Co., claiming it provided secret CIA transportation services to shuttle three terrorism suspects overseas, where they were tortured.”
“The lawsuit, which the ACLU said it would file Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, charges that Jeppesen knowingly provided direct flight services to the CIA that enabled the clandestine transportation of the men to secret overseas locations, where they were tortured and subjected to other ‘forms of cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment’ under the agency's ‘extraordinary rendition’ program.”
"’American corporations should not be profiting from a CIA rendition program that is unlawful and contrary to core American values,’ said Anthony D. Romero, executive director of the ACLU. ‘Corporations that choose to participate in such activity can and should be held legally accountable.’”
“The lawsuit involves a branch of the company called Jeppesen International Trip Planning, which the ACLU calls a ‘main provider of flight and logistical support services for aircraft used by the CIA in the U.S. government's extraordinary rendition program.’”
“The cases involve the alleged mistreatment of Binyam Mohamed, an Ethiopian citizen, in July 2002 and January 2004; Elkassim Britel, an Italian citizen, in May 2002; and Ahmed Agiza, an Egyptian citizen, in December 2001.”
“Mohamed is currently being held in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Britel in Morocco; and Agiza in Egypt, the ACLU said in a statement.”
I may be crazy, but am I the only one to see that the ulta-leftist organization, once touted for upholding the rights of citizens, has lapsed into something approaching a political activist group that uses the law for publicity, self-enrichment and to harass the United States of America?

“From its very beginning, the ACLU had strong socialist and communist ties. As early as 1931, the U.S. Congress was alarmed by the ACLU's devotion to communism. A report by the Special House Committee to Investigate Communist Activities stated
The American Civil Liberties Union is closely affiliated with the communist movement in the United States, and fully 90 percent of its efforts are on behalf of communists who have come into conflict with the law. It claims to stand for free speech, free press and free assembly, but it is quite apparent that the main function of the ACLU is an attempt to protect the communists.”
“Roger Baldwin and Crystal Eastman founded the ACLU in 1920 along with three other organizations dedicated to the most leftist of causes. The histories of these two individuals belie their claims of patriotism and respect for the Constitution.”
“Baldwin openly sought the utter destruction of American society. Fifteen years after the founding of the ACLU, Baldwin wrote:
I am for Socialism, disarmament and ultimately, for the abolishing of the State itself ... I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal.”
“Earl Browder, the general secretary of the Communist Party of the United States, admitted that the ACLU served as a "transmission belt" for the party. Baldwin agreed, claiming, ‘I don't regret being a part of the communist tactic which increased the effectiveness of a good cause.’”
One must ask themselves, is the ACLU actively participating in the anti-war movement on behalf of a foreign power or ideology or are they simply trying to push American culture and jurisprudence toward their own twisted view of the world … aided and abetted by innocent sponsors and donors who believe their “we are protecting the Constitution” pretext?

Carefully investigate any organization to which you donate your time and money.
Review their past activities in light of your own beliefs.
Donate your precious time, effort and money to causes that promote your beliefs … and not tear the social fabric of America ostensibly to improve it.
